# Recording unlinked

> Emitted when a definite link between a recording and a DMS deal or CRM object is removed. `dms` / `crm` carry the link that was removed. Relinking to another deal sends recordingUnlinked for the old deal and recordingLinked for the new one; deliveries can arrive out of order, so compare `changedAt`.

> limitation of the docs renderer and does not apply here — your receiver
> authenticates inbound webhooks on its own.
